1. What Pub Tiger is
Pub Tiger is a free app to organize a pub crawl and enjoy it together. It is made by Menno van der Knaap, as a private person (“Pub Tiger”, “we”). By joining or creating a crawl you agree to these terms and to our privacy statement.
2. Who it is for
- Pub Tiger is for people aged 18 and over. Whoever creates a crawl confirms that everyone in it is 18 or older.
- You join with an invitation from a crawl’s organizers.
3. Drink responsibly
A pub crawl is about going out together, not about drinking as much as possible.
- Pub Tiger is not a drinking game. Do not use the app to push anyone into drinking too much, also not with challenges or points.
- For challenges the organizers can always offer an alternative (“rather not?”), and nobody has to drink to take part.
- Drink in moderation, have water in between, and never drive under the influence. Look out for each other.
4. What is not allowed
You do not send, post or write anything in Pub Tiger that:
- is unlawful, or infringes someone’s rights (such as a photo of someone who does not want it);
- is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory or intimidating;
- bullies, threatens or ridicules someone;
- discloses other people’s personal data against their wishes;
- is advertising or spam;
- shows minors in connection with alcohol.
We have zero tolerance for this. Anyone who does it anyway can be taken out of the crawl by the organizers or by us, and the content is removed.
5. Who decides what
- The organizers of a crawl (the owner and co-organizers) decide who takes part, what is in the runbook and which photos reach the feed. They look at challenge photos before everyone sees them.
- Reporting: if you see a photo that is not allowed, report it with “Report this photo”. It disappears for you at once. The organizers decide whether it goes or stays, and you read what was decided. The organizers do not see who reported it. Whoever took a photo does not decide on their own reported photo.
- Blocking: if you no longer want to see someone’s photos, block them. They will not notice.
- Pub Tiger can also remove a photo or take someone out of a crawl itself, for instance when the organizers keep a reported photo that is not allowed, or when someone e-mails us.
- Disagree with a decision? E-mail us at mennodev2004@gmail.com. We look at it ourselves and tell you what we decide.
6. What stays yours
Photos and texts you put in Pub Tiger stay yours. You only allow us to store them in the crawl and show them to the people taking part, for as long as the crawl exists. Only put photos in the app that you may share, of people who agree.
7. As well as we can
Pub Tiger is a free app made by one person. We do our best to keep it working, but cannot promise it always works, also not in the middle of a crawl. We are not liable for what happens during a crawl: everyone is responsible for what they drink and do. This does not affect the rights the law gives you in any case.
8. When a crawl stops
The owner can always delete a crawl; everything is then gone at once. We erase a finished crawl ourselves after 30 days (see the privacy statement). We can stop a crawl or exclude someone who does not keep to these terms.
9. Changes and law
If we change these terms, the new version appears here with its date on top; for a big change we let you know in the app. Dutch law applies to these terms.
10. Contact
mennodev2004@gmail.com. This is also our point of contact for authorities and for notices from outside the app.
